Acknowledging that the climate is changing is the first step in understanding human-induced climate change (sequence A). The second step is recognising human responsibility in today’s climate change.

The present sequence addresses this issue, providing a preliminary understanding of both the physical mechanisms involved in global warming (in particular, the role of greenhouse gases), and the human activities responsible for it, as well as the links between both.

This sequence involves documentary analysis, physical model experimentation and a fun serious game you can play with your students (sequence B2). You can access this resource by clicking on the "download" button in the top right corner.

This pedagogical sequence is part of the pedagogical manual The Climate in our Hands: Ocean and Cryosphere.
